A good night

Last night we had a gaggle of children over for a sleep over and it was the first time I have felt at home here.  We went to the beach at sunset and walked long into dark.  It was a bit chilly and overcast and the colors in the sky were beautiful. The children ran and ran exploring the tidepools and becoming a pack of wolves howling and running.  It was such a beautiful expression of joy. Then we went out for Baskin Robins.  It reminded me of some of my favorite times in Tacoma, a van full of children and an adventure to be had.  I loved being the chaperone to adventure and seeing the freedom and joy in my childrens faces. I felt so grateful to have this moment with them.
